1/2 cup Almond oil
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
Preferable but optional – few drops of lemon or grapefruit oil.
Add the turmeric to the almond oil and allow to infuse for at least half an hour. Shake and apply this oil to dark areas twice daily for a month.
Juice Skin Lightening:
Make a juice of any of the liquid ingredients above with equal parts of all juices. If you have all of these ingredients that’s great, if not just mix what you do have together and apply it twice daily by sponging the liquid onto dark areas. Pat away excess lightly and allow to dry. You can also add a teaspoon of yogurt to this blend.
Baking Soda Lightening Paste:
Use 3 tablespoons of any of the juices above and a teaspoon of unsweetened yogurt with two tablespoons of baking soda. Apply this paste for ten minutes before showering then wash off.
Homemade Underarm Cream:
Melt 1/2 cup of Almond oil with 2 tablespoons of beeswax until combined. After it has cooled to a luke warm temperature, add a few drops of licorice extract, a squeeze of lemon juice or few drops of lemon oil, a pinch of turmeric powder and 5 drops of Japanese soy sauce. You can also use a teaspoon of cucumber juice if you wish.
Allow to cool and apply the cream twice daily to underarms. Store in a clean container in the fridge and use within 6 weeks.
